Swim Banquet -
August 15th at 3:00 p.m.
Please mark your calendars for attending our Summer Swim
Banquet to be held at the City Park on August
15th
3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Swim with your friends at
the City Park Pool (pay your own admission)
5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Picnic at the Shelter
- picnic tables just South of the pool
Let’s recognize the accomplishments
of all our swimmers!
The coaches will be attending and recognizing the swimmers
from all groups - Minnows, Bronze, Silver and Gold!
We also hold our Annual Meeting during the Banquet. We
will discuss our budget and plans for the coming
year.
The Marlins are seeking parent volunteers to
serve on the Manhattan Marlin Board.
We need representation from all swimming levels. If you
are interested or have questions regarding being on the
Board, please contact Helena Grinter (785-410-2242).
The Board meets once a month for 2 hours. Please seriously consider
being a member of the Board.
We have room for 9 Board Members.
The Marlin Banquet is always a wonderful get together for
the swimmers, their families and the coaches.
The menu is
- Ray's Rotisserie Chicken
- Potato Salad
- Cole Slaw
- Pasta Medley
- Baked Beans
Cost is $4 per person.
Please bring a dozen cookies, brownies or bottled water to
share!
RSVP by August 12th by
responding on this event with the number attending and what you are
bringing to share!
You will be billed on your
Marlins Account - no need to pay at the event!
